Basement Project receives Pqasso Level 2 Award
The Basement project is celebrating winning a prestigious award that demonstrates professionalism and a well organised and run charity. The award, called the PQASSO Quality Mark, is a nationally recognised award that recognises the quality and credibility of an organisation in the voluntary sector, and can only be achieved after a rigorous external and independent audit of that organisation by a qualified PQASSO assessor. It is the only recognised quality mark that covers the work of charities and other organisations in the third sector ensuring effective management, well controlled and managed finances and good governance. The award also comes with full endorsement by the Charity Commission as meeting the Hallmarks of an Effective Charity. Staff, volunteers and trustees all work hard to make the Basement a safe and well run organisation that clients and supporters can trust.
